From the quaint charm of Downtown Sequim’s coffee shops and boutiques to the rugged peaks of the Olympic Mountains and the rich farmland of the Dungeness Valley, Sequim and the surrounding area present an abundance of exploration opportunities.
To the north you’ll find the Strait of Juan de Fuca. Be sure to visit the Dungeness Spit and hike to the New Dungeness Lighthouse. Sequim is only 30 minutes from the ferry to Victoria, British Columbia. Perfect for a day trip or a quick overnight stay.
To the south, Sequim is bordered by the Olympic Mountains and the Olympic National Forest. You’ll find great hiking trails through the forest and along the Dungeness River.
Heading east, be sure to visit the John Wayne Marina for beautiful views and a restaurant featuring local seafood. Just across the Sequim Bay is the Seven Cedars Resort and Casino and Club Seven, a hot spot for nightly entertainment.
As you head west, you’ll come to the gateway to the Olympic National Park, the home of Hurricane Ridge, the Hoh Rainforest, and beautiful coastal beaches.
