Live musical performances are an integral part of the Sunshine Festival! This year, performers will take the stage inside the Guy Cole Events Center in Carrie Blake Park for free concerts throughout the day on Saturday, March 2, 2024. Spectators can meander in and out, sit and listen, and enjoy the music with food and beverages for purchase.
The 2024 Sunshine Festival Musical Line-up features:
The Buck Ellard Band - 12 Noon - 2 PM
Buck's music is a mix of country, classic rock, blues and originals. He has been compared to Garth Brooks, Alan Jackson, John Prine, George Strait, Merle Haggard, Waylon Jennings, and even Buck Ellard!
The Harmonica Pocket - 2:15 PM - 3:45 PM
Harmonica Pocket is part of the growing "Kindie Rock" music scene, but makes music that truly appeals to all ages. Silly and sweet, this is a young at heart band from Port Townsend, WA. Harmonica Pocket shows are upbeat and festive, but not frenetic. Catchy, engaging songs and unexpected props will keep audiences drawn in. Humor, improvisation and play are generaously sprinkled on top. Bring the kids!
Dawn and Steve - 4 PM - 5:30 PM
Accomplished pianist and vocalist Dawn Martin teaches piano at the Sequim Academy of Music and performs locally in bands, as a duo with husband Steve, and as a soloist. Dawn and Steve will play your favorite songs from the 50's, 60's and 70's. They love it when audiences sing along and dance!
Black Diamond Junction - 5:35 - 7:35 PM
Voted "Best Live Band" by Peninsula Daily News readers for the past seven years, this dynamic five-member band plays classic hits and will get your dancing feet going!
