Meet Susan Baritelle, owner of Dungeness Kids Company, a one-stop children’s store in downtown Sequim.

“Ours is a unique children’s boutique selling quality clothing, shoes, accessories, toys, games, puzzles, and books.”

The store is bright and cheery and features a special nook where kids can enjoy browsing a book.  Customers will find an assortment of backpacks, lunch bags, feeding materials, bath time goodies, and even essential oils. Children’s clothing is available in sizes newborn to size 14.   

“We are located in the heart of downtown Sequim--- a great destination for shopping with plenty of free parking. Visitors always tell me “Everyone is so nice here” and it’s true!”

“Our target clients are parents and grandparents.  We have lots of grandparents in Sequim who like to find unique and quality gifts for their grandkids.”

The store recently marked its 15th year of business and celebrated with storewide specials and engaging activities including a sidewalk chalk contest, a dress-up day and a raffle drawing for a giant stuffed giraffe.

Susan moved to Sequim from Napa CA with her family seventeen years ago.   She has two sons, ages 16 and 12.

“I love our little town.  My in-laws retired here in 2003, and that’s how I first heard about Sequim.”
